New wheels are MUCH better than the aftermarket rubbish! People either love or hate the “Lobster Forks” (not claws as is commonly gotten wrong)-I think they’re great. My friend bought one yesterday and asked him why he didn’t choose the polar white dial. He replied the contrast of the GMT hand looked better against a black dial. He paid HK$95K (US$12,100) used with box and papers 2023 model. I thought it was a bit expensive.

I owned the J version a long time ago, and really studied the differences from the K version at the time. Many don't know that the J version has a sharper, more crisp finish no the lugs and overall looks a lot better built. The lumes were applied better too, if I remember correctly. Now I own the SKX013 and love it. Interestingly, it has the sharp and crisp lugs like the J version. Definitely a lifetime keeper!

Ive got black version and I think looks better on the wrist like polar.

I do like the patina but personally I’ll send mine to Tudor once a year to have it cleaned, I want it to last as long as possible so I can pass it on to my kids

When you first glance at the ‘floor’, it looks like old film reels. Then as you look closer, the faces slowly, hauntingly, appear. Such an amazing architectural memorial to one of the absolute worst times in our global history. 😢

I preferred it over a 226570 for almost the same price. This has more charme due to the shadowed hands and the slimmer band. 72 Hours of charge reserve were not so crucial in the decision. I’ve been wearing it since the first day, so no problem of disruption… still good value for price. 9300 € for a late 2018 issue, Rolex service included.
